Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Sha Tin on Wednesday morning in which a 68-year-old man died.They said that about 6.05am, a bus driven by a 31-year-old man was travelling along Ngau Pei Sha Street towards Kwong Yuen Estate.
They said the bus was approaching Sha Tin Wai Road when it reportedly knocked down the 68-year-old cyclist.
They said the cyclist sustained serious head injuries, and was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital where he was certified dead at 1.03pm.
The bus driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death, and has been released on bail.
Police urged any witnesses to contact the investigating officers on 3661 1300.
